Princess Bubblegum Cosplay

Dzisiaj dość nietypowo ponieważ nie jest to stylizacja a cosplay. Dla tcyh co nie znają tego spłowa polecam internet. Na wstępie chciała bym powiedzieć, że nie starałam się idealnie odwzorować postaci a jedynie oddać jej główne cechy. Zdecydowałam się na Księżniczkę Bubblegum ponieważ mam różowe włosy i większość rzeczy miałam pod ręką więc niewiele było do zrobienia - tak, jestem leniwa :P Poza tym uważam, że Bubblegum do mnie pasuje. Koronę, najważniejszą cześć stroju wykonałam z połyskującej złotej tektury, którą również miałam akurat w domu oraz ceramicznego kaboszonu. Tak na prawdę jedyna część stroju, która była specjalnie kupiona do zdjęć jest sukienka (której nie widać za bardzo :D ). Super probówki to kieliszki na szoty- świetnie się sprawdziły podczas sesji ;)
Dajcie znać jak wam się podoba moja wersja postaci! :)

Today a bit different as it's not a regular outfit but a cosplay. If you don't know the word I recommend the Internet. At the beginning I wanted  to say that I didn't try to recreat the character in detail but rather her general characteristics. I've decided to cosplay Princess Bubblegum because I already had pink hair and I had most of the stuff I needed at home- yes, I am lazy ;P And I think Bubblegum fits me. I've made the crown from goldfish, shining paper and ceramic cabochon. The only thing I bough especially for this photo shoot was the dress (which isn't that visible anyway :D ). Awesome test tubes are made for drinks- they turned useful during the shooting ;)

Geek Fashion #16 - Adventure Time Dr. Martens

Dzisiaj będzie trochę o butach firmy Dr. Martens a konkretnie o serii z bajki Adventure Time. Buty są dostępne na rynku już od jakiegoś czasu ale nie pisałam o nich wcześniej bo długo nie wiedziałam co o nich myślę. Z jednej strony są to Martensy w połączeniu z Adventure Time więc czego tu nie lubić? A jednak coś na początku mi nie podeszły, chyba głównie przez te uszy Finna i to, że żółty i biały to nie moje kolory. Ale im dłużej im się przyglądam tym bardziej myślę, że chciała bym mieć, któreś buty z tej serii. A wy co sądzicie o tej kolekcji?

Today's post will be about Dr. Martens shoes and to be precise  about their Adventure Time line. The shoes are available for some time now but I haven't written about them earlier because I didn't know how I feel about them. On one hand they are Martens combined with Adventure Time so what's not to like? But they somehow didn't appeal to me at the beginning, maybe mainly because of Finns ears and the fact that yellow and white are not my colors. But the longer I stare at them the more I like them and I think I would like to own a pair from this line. What do you think about this collection?

Geek Fashion #14- Adventure Time

Jakiś czas temu pisałam o limitowanej kolekcji z Batmanem w sklepach House. Dzisiaj kolejna kolekcja tej firmy, tym razem z postaciami z bajki Adventure Time. Przyznam się szczerze, że dopiero od niedawa zaczęłam to oglądać i całkiem mnie wciągnęło. Jestem teraz na 3 sezonie, często włączam sobie tą bajkę kiedy robię biżuterię. Odcinki są ktrótkie ale bardzo zabawne. Zauważyłam , że coraz więcej sklepów tworzy ubrania, których motywem przewodnim jest włąśnie ta bajka. W większości są to bardzo wesołe, kolorowe wzory i nie mogło takich zabraknąć w kolekcji House'a. Jednak zdołali użyć też bardziej stonowanych czy ciemnych kolorów dzięki czemu mamy dość ciekawy wybór. Jedyna bluzka, która mi się nie podoba to ta z wielkim żółtym plackiem na piersiach. Mam wrażenie, że deformuje to sylwetkę. Co wy myślicie o tej kolekcji? Ktoś z was ogląda Adventure Time?

Some time ago I wrote about Limited Batman collection at House. Today I'm going to show you another collection from this shop, this time with characters from Adventure Time. I admit that I started to watch the show recently and I was completely sucked in. I'm on the 3rd season now, I often watch it while making jewelry. The episodes are short and funny, it's great to watch. I've noticed that more and more companies make clothes with the motif of this cartoon. Most of them are bright, colorful and happy and House collection couldn't be worse. However, they manages also to make some clothes with darker colors thus making their collection more interesting and giving us a bigger choice. There's one T-shirt that I don't like though, the one with big yellow spot in the area of chest. It seems to deform the silhouette. What do you think about the collection? Does any of you watch Adveture Time?
